Stephanie WilliamsSonia Taitz is an essayist, playwright, novelist and author of Mothering Heights, In the King’s Arms, The Watchmaker’s Daughter, and Down Under. She has written extensively for The New York Times, held a bi-weekly column in The New York Observer, and been excerpted by The Post as well as by O: The Oprah Magazine. Her plays have been performed in Oxford, New York, and at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. People magazine described Sonia Taitz as "an incisive, funny writer," and Publisher's Weekly praised her as "wise and witty." She is the recipient of the Lord Bullock Prize for Writing, given by the Chancellor of Oxford University, where she also received an M.Phil in 19th Century English Literature. As a Yale-trained lawyer, Sonia Taitz has worked with abused foster children and has been an advocate for victims of domestic violence.
